trucker girl:

erparamedic- I got them at Wal-Mart. It was a pack of 30 rhinestones- some bigger, some smaller. I got two packs- good thing because the entire board they are mounted on is sticky and I dropped the first one and my dog sheds so bad that it was immediately filled with hair and I couldn't use the rhinestones- too much hair!

What looked like sticky stuff attached to the rhinestones themselves was just stuff holding them on- they came off really easily so I was able to apply JUST the rhinestones.

So, is each rhinestone "individual" or did they come in a line that you can trim to fit (like several are attached together)? I had to do each of mine individually... and WOW! That was a pain! (No wonder I was so deep in concentration that I drooled on myself! :rofl3:) Today makes one week for my toes... I think I'll apply another layer of top coat today.... just so they stay nice. I leave for FL a week from tomorrow. ;)

Do re-apply the topcoat ladies! A couple of mine came off a few days after. I have this habit of scratching the bottoms of my itchy feet with them before I realize what I am doing. Was able to find the same kind at the drugstore and did a repair followed by a couple of coats of the topcoat. Looking good again!:D

I couldn't resist joining in the Dive Toes revolution. Had a couple of Smirnoff Green Apple flavored beer thingy's and decided I wanted dive toes too :D Unfortunately I had no red polish AND I paint nails like a five-year-old. I decided to take some blue polish I had and the white from a french manicure set and attempt alpha flag dive toes. I took the picture right after I painted them but before cleaning up the edges just in case I had an accident with the polish remover LOL!

Yay! Ber! What fun! The blue looks "metalic-y".... pretty! Good job!

Ok... so you have blue polish, but not red polish! You little rebel girl, you! :rofl3:

I'm sitting here thinking... those toe spread-y thingies would have helped me do mine, if I had them. LOL

It's a really pretty metallic blue, I bought it figuring I would never actually wear it but could use it as paint to mark anything that needed marking. Most of my colors are light, red scares me :rofl3:

I love the toe spread-y things but that set is a little too wide and hurts just a bit (the dog ate my favorite ones).

ok...I admit I went out and found polish that matches my pink tank. Its almost a pre-dive ritual now...must paint fingernails and toenails to match the tank.

This is like AA for girls who like pretty things!

I must admit, I've never been fashionable, so if I come off like anything matches I'm totally faking it!

I try to stick with jeans or black (pants and shorts) that way you can't clash too much...

Well- I'm headed off to dive today! I'm wearing my Dork Diver's t-shirt from Lisa's Cafepress store (in my sig line)! I wonder if I can get a pic...

Okay, here's what being alone with a camera and a big mirror, wearing a funny hat and laughing will get you...

Sorry for the blur!

you are way too cool....I wanna dive with you!!!!

Thanks, Cheddar! I'm tellin' ya, you hang with me, you're just bound to look cool (in comparison!).

I think I may have been the poster child for Dork Diving before there was a name for it. Well. Maybe Ber Rabbit was the poster child. But I was IN the poster- in the background, at least!
