I am doing some research on Central Texas lakes. If anybody knows of Internet links or sites that have historical information. For example: I know Belton lake was not always a lake. When the area was flooded were remaining structures and “land things like roads” left standing?

Like the rest of us I want to see interesting stuff when I dive.

I know there was a grist mill at Lake Whitney, and some of the bridges were not taken down before it was flooded. I talked with some people who have dove on the old grist mill and there are supposedly still some walls standing.
