It seems like it covers the entire face? What style of mask is this and what is it designed for?

Thanks.

Looks like an Oceanreef Full Face Mask (FFM)
Designed to cover FullFace.
Used in Very cold or Very dirty water.
Keeps the face nice and dry.

well you can talk with them too. I wonder how difficult is to equalize with a full face mask.

With a FFM you don't need to equalize the mask space because you are breathing into the mask itself.

I dont know what it would be like in warm water. But i have done commercial dives in No vis really cold water. With the lobster mitts its a bit difficult but i just use both thumbs and it works fairly well

There is what is known as a nose block in the mask. You push it up against your nostrils and blow just as you would with your regular mask. Just be sure it;s your mask and that no one before you had a head cold. Otherwise you'll be sharing boogers.
