One of those "tricky" questions that a lot of students miss by not reading it right is the definition of bottom time. Remember, when diving tables, it's to the start of your direct ascent!! :D

I noticed on my SSI OW test that if any of the answers had an option for "All of the Above," the answer was "All of the Above." I found the test very easy.

I'm an SSI instructor and agree totally with all of the comments above. Some of the questions are not worded well. Make sure you know definitions such as "bottom time" mentioned above and have a good understanding of working the tables (probably 6-8 questions). Also, make sure you read all of the possible answers before making your selection -- a better answer may be one of the other choices.

Don't worry about the exam. It's fair and covers the "meat and potatoes" of diving, not the trivia. Most importantly, as mentioned above, the test is to make sure YOU are comfortable with your knowledge. Go over all of the questions you miss (if any!) with your instructor.

Welcome to the world of diving!

thanks, I'm reviewing the video now and will look over the book tonight
