I have this issue at home with a water softener. At destinations with normal hard water, no issues.
After realizing that, I started cleaning well with alcohol immediately before donning. That was fixed the issue for me.
Have you tried alcohol and applying as soon as it is dry?
Also, circumcised or not makes a difference in how you need to apply it. Doesn't affect the glue, but it does affect how well it stays adhered.
Urobond would probably help, but it is a contact cement, so not sure how you would go about applying it to a rolled cath.

Try a Foley catheter instead…guaranteed not slip.

You could reach out to them and ask for a recommendation?

but not too far

Yeah, I've tried alcohol wipes too, but to no avail.
Circumcised, but from discussion with buddies, it seems like that should help?

As for the Urobond, I was thinking it would be a shaft application and then I'd roll the condom down on to it. I know some contact cements bond super well with other adhesives...too well in this case? Or maybe it wouldn't work at all? Hence looking for someone who's uh...inserted before me and lived to tell the tale

And it makes removing a glued on one a true joy in comparison.
I’ve had the wide band leak if it gets twisted or kinked, since you don’t know that the back pressure can lift it away from your “skin”. I have also found that putting it on at home makes it stay much better, something about the cold humid environment seems to limit how well I can attach it.

In school they taught us to roll the bottom of the condom in your pubic hair so they don't slide off. You could try that with the glue. Maybe the hair would give the condom extra traction and glue-ability.

Have you tried what the gals often do before she-p installation - wipe the area with an alcohol prep pad and let it dry. Makes a difference.

Do NOT do that right after shaving.
