Hello! we are going to be diving in West Palm Beach the 15th of February and I was wondering which of our suits to take. We have a 3 mil gold core 2 piece and a 5 mil core warmer. We usually dive the springs or lakes in arkansas and are somewhat used to colder temps., but I wanted some advice on what you all feel that we should bring...THANKS!!

Water temp was around 70.

There were lots of 3 and 5mm on board. I had a drysuit.

Didn't actually get to dive, the vis was really bad.

Good luck!

Water's pretty cool now, what you have will be good (I wear same or more). If you don't get cold easy, a 3mm will likely be ok, 5mm better.

Each Feb I spend a week (4 dives a day) diving the West Palm area. Typically wear a 6 mm semi dry and am very comfortable. The water is typically in the low 70's this time of year. Just got a new 7mm semi dry and will be wearing it last week of Feb. 3 mm is awfully thin and I know that I would get cold in that. I would take your 5 mm and hood. You'll be comfortable.
The water off West Palm dropped to 67 degrees last week, but is now back up to 70.
