What spring straps do you use for Apollo Bio-fins?

The Apollo-approved spring straps require major physical modification to the fin (cutting off the post and drilling new holes into the side). I don't have the tools to make the modifications, nor do I want to.

What spring straps have you used successfully with the bio-fin?

I have seen somewhere one made with a small stainless D shackle from the yacht shop connected to a stainless spring cut with a loop bent from the stainless spring shop covered with some tubular webbing from the climbing shop.

Time to start a business.

I'm using XS Scuba ones I bought from my LDS. They were easy to install, and I've been very happy with them.

the posts on the Atomics are too small for the anchor shackle solution.

There are some good pics of the shackle in that link as well as an idea for bungee straps. I have both springs and bungee and like the bungee ones the best.

I bought XS Scuba's spring straps for my wife's Biofin.
The shackles for the large posts fit fine.
