I have pretty similar dimensions. I'm 5'10, 190 lbs, 35-36 inch waist. I wear a large. It has some room in the shoulders too. I tighten the shoulder straps most of the way when I am just in a pair of shorts and can loosen it more than enough to fit a farmer john 7mm.

Sure - free scuba gear for everyone who brings a copy of this post to Zeagle!!!!

sergeantnic:
I was wondering if anybody is diving the Zeagle Bridage and what size they may be wearing comparative to my weight.

I'm 5'11", 180 lbs. My waist is 36" but seems to be expanding!! Just got out of the military.

Scubatoys says a medium for waist 33 - 41" and also lists a large for waist 37 - 45".

I just don't want to get a medium and then be up crap creek in a year when I gain 20 lbs.

Any input is appreciated.

sergeantnic,

As you've seen by the responses, there is some choice as to how you prefer a BC to fit. And there's the issue of where you dive and how thick of suits you will be wearing.

I agree with Scott's comment about getting the biggest BC that fits, if there's a good chance you'll be heavier soon. The fit around the waist is the most important thing, because the vest can't be made larger, only the cummerbund and shoulders can be adjusted later. Since you have a 36" waist now, and said it's likely you will add some weight soon, the large with medium shoulders sounds right.

That said, I'm 6'1" and weigh 185 lbs, 33" waist. I prefer a medium as I'm not gaining any weight. It's a little snugger in my 7mm one piece suit, but I only it a few months of the year. I keep the waist adjustments in the first or smallest setting. I can wear a large with the 7mm, but it's a little loose when wearing my 3mm suit, shorties or a t-shirt.

Good one Scott!! Of course if they were to come to Zephyrhills (one word :D) this weekend then they might be able to get all the gear that they can carry. But of course if the guys in blue show up then they won't be needing the dive gear for some time to come.
