What 's up with CZM flights out of Houston??

I usually use Expedia to book trips to Cozumel, flying out of Houston on the direct Continental flight. I was going to book a trip in August but the search revealed that there are no flights available on Continental or any other airline. I checked the Continental website and they listed the flights as no fares available. I checked Orbitz and Travelocity with the same results. There are no flights to Cancun either. Surely they can't all be booked. Has anyone else been able to book something in August?

What dates are you looking at, a lot of mid week flights have been eliminated.

Zman96 is correct, many airlines have dropped mid week flights.:depressed:
Change the dates a bit and see what happens.

I called Continental. They only fly to Cozumel on Saturday and Sunday and dropped daily service. That stinks! I always enjoyed the quick daily flight from Houston for a few days of diving. If I have to go for a minimum of 7 days....I'm not sure I'll be going very often if at all.

Try American, I know they are currently flying on Wednesdays.

I'm thinking that they are with Orbitz on that.

We have started flying into Cancun for this very reason. Every year, Continental does this. Yes, it takes an hour or so to get to Playa by bus - then the ferry ride takes about another hour but we saved about $150.00 doing this last month. Looks like Southwest may pick up a route with their new merger in the future to Coz - maybe that will light a little fire under Continental.
