Yes but look at the sides where the X-Vision strap connectors make contact with the mask skirt and not the lens frame ... then while looking at that design ... think about it for a while and then you'll "get" it. I'm just not sure what goes through designers minds sometimes. Nevermind, yes actually I do - it's called reoccuring business, if they're lucky, divers will return each time they need their masks replaced and stay brand loyal. Then again ignorance can be fixed.


Bought a Lirica Tech Black mask from mares when they first came out (6yrs ago?) never had a problem with it, prolly has 500hrs on it.
 
I have a couple masks that I use for both SCUBA and free diving. Currently, my primary mask is the TUSA M-23QB. It's a nice low volume mask with a large field of vision. The increased field of vision is primary achieved by moving the entire mask frame closer to the face. This does takes a little getting used to at first.
