I don’t know how often this needs to be said in order for people to realize it. A BOV into a 3L is insufficient if you were to ever find yourself in a CO2 hit. I’d give it a…25%? chance someone with a severe hit with a full face mask plugged into a 3L (even if a full one, which it won’t be) could survive the consequences of that to be able to bail out, then deal w the extra nonsense to get a different mouthpiece or pod into their mouth at 60M.
Its just a matter of using the switchblock

Going to switchblock to your deco gas too? Switch blocks to different gases dil, to BO, to deco is how you eff up and die. This is crazy convoluted. There's a really good reason FFMs are not used in recreational CCR diving.

Bottom bailout at 60 metres is 18/40
You'll want more helium in the shrimp BOV at 200ft. It'll work but going to a density of 5.9 gm/L in that 2nd stage is going to be unpleasant or if you really really need gas in a CO2 situation disastrous

Not going to switchblock to my shallow bailout/deco gas - too much risk in that, but switchblocking from 18/60 dil to 18/40 doesn't pose a lot of risk.

Not using a Shrimp BOV - using a Divesoft Liberty BOV
