Cough, well... before I go into that let me just say I'm not sure that were I to put it together again that it would work, that being said.

There are two points either side of the aladin, which are glued/sonic welded to the top part. Approximately in line with the labels (depth, dive time, max. depth, deco info) pop those four and the two halves will come apart you'll then see a rubber seal which pops off (do this part over a sink or basin because oils goes EVERYWHERE...

On the photo's you can see where the attachment points are and on the back view you can see the seat for the rubber seal.

Thanks Fluggs
I thought there may have been screws in the four small holes in the back. I know UWATEC have no interest in my opinion, but I am sure they made a mistake when they sealed their computers.
It would be interesting to solder in a battery, reassemble it in a container of oil, reglue it, and restart it.
Again, thanks for the information.

I did that with a MARES Genius, I have a local computer shop solder in the $10.00 replacement battery I got at Radio Shack. I assembled it in a small basin that was filled with mineral oil. Everything worked great.

Putting any kind of sharp object through the 4 holes in the back will result in holes in the Rubber bladder seal...ask me I know :p
