small compressor. owner claims to have purchased this new a dozen years ago or so. but to me this looks a lot older. its a tiny compressor. looks perhaps around 80 lbs weight or so and around 2ft long. i personally have doubts as to if this is capable of reaching high enough pressure to fill a tank.also not sure if the filters are still around for this. or if it would be worth messing with.what dose the board think? any thoughts whats it worth?

Looks like a Mako off hand.

I'm sure someone here will know the exact model.

this thing is Tiny. the guy apparently went to the hospital once for inhaling oil under water into one side of his lung.later got lung cancer. perhaps he used wrong oil. his wife wasn't sure if it was his compressor or a bad fill somewhere else that did it.they radiated both his lung and brain to prevent spread. now hes not sure were he is.

this thing is tiny. may bee smaller than i listed like under 50lb's. its tiny. filters like maybe 8inches long. not sure what kind of filter it has. i also dont see a drain valve off hand.I bet it would take an hour to fill a Tank!

probably worthless as if it has contaminated oil, it would be a pain to properly restore and clean out.

come on gang. any info?

That is an accident waiting to happen. Pass.

Here's a lead for you to do some research.
Mako/Poseidon/Bauer Purus......all very similar 70's compressors yours is most likley one of these.
Yours is missing the shroud.
Post some pics of the numbers on the block.

Seems like lots of trouble and risk for what purpose?

what you have there seems to be an artifact from the ancient days of scuba. mid 1500's i would guess give or take ~400 years. if you look carefully you can see hieroglyphics inscribed onto the framework.

My best guess is that it's tiny. ;)
