That is not just a mouthpiece, that is an M-48 SuperMask by Kirby Morgan (full face mask).
M-48 SuperMask | Kirby Morgan

Yes, it can be used with communications and it is unique in that the regulator pod can be removed without removing the upper portion of the mask. It is a modular full face mask.

It looks pretty close to the Kirby Morgan M-48 SuperMask in clear silicon and blue injection molded plastic parts. You could give then a call and ask.

Edit: Sorry Luis your post went up as I was typing.

Edit 2: Note this mask recommends 130' Max on Scuba, probably because of the large dead-air space and CO2 build-up. On the other hand, it may just but CYA legal talk. The regulators probably outperform anything on the recreational market when deep.

You can see them briefly using it here - at one part in the show JMC talks to divers on rebreathers but it appears they're still using the Kirby Morgan mask. My guess would be for the cameras as well as communication.
