hey.....not all newbies drop a load on their gear. my whole set up cost me 250......reg, console(analog),and bc. o and it does have orange whistle on the chest d-ring. lol way i see it....if it works, and lets you get wet.....jump in and have fun! thats what scubas all about right?

Wow, I guess this all leaves me with only one option.

I will buy an Orange Shovel and strap it to a D ring to draw attention away from the rest of my apparently questionable gear.

What is the buoyancy of an Orange Shovel?

Maybe I will strap it to my leg instead. Yea, that’s the ticket.

I don't have that one, but what about SSI's $1000 on the Platinum card Diver? or YMCA's need some salary Silver Advanced towards my gear purchase c-card?

I happen to LOVE my dive flag colored log book binder! (I was going to get the black one with the little dive flag in the corner, but they were out when I went to the LDS)

I also love my neoprene mask strap cover (although the best saying on the back is someone that posts here once in a while who's strap reads "STROKE"!)

I have the little orange whistle! But I resisted the "Aqua Maraca" and tank bangers!

What sucks is so far all of the dive operators I've used didn't have t-shirts, so I HAD to buy them from other stores so I had diving related t-shirts! (And my LDS still hasn't created a t-shirt! hint hint)

I will admit that the license plate frame on the back of my car that says "I love diving" was a certification gift, and she stood there and watched as I put it on my car! (but the sticker was my idea heh heh heh!)

I still can't believe it took almost 70 posts for someone to mention the Air2! (you guys are slipping!)
