Is it just another name for the Chilean Sea Bass? If its different, is it also endangered?

No. The "Chilean sea bass" is correctly named "Patagonian toothfish" and is not a true bass at all.

The Peruvian sea bass is a true sea bass. It is not endangered, at least according to the FDA list.
