I got an email from someone selling this halcyon BP/W..for whatever reason, the person knows nothing about it, but gave me these pictures (see below). It looks to be in decent condition.. Can someone ID this for me please?

Also a few other questions...
- At a glance how many lbs of lift do you think that wing has?
- Is $400 a reasonable price for it all? I could get a brand new similar rig for not much more from DSS, but is Halcyon that great of a brand or just really over priced?
- Anything else I should be aware of ? I should probably test the wing for leaks underwater first right?

Thanks for any help..I'm a total newbie to the BP/W world..

I updated the post a minute after with the pictures. He said he was into diving in the past and forgot the details about the gear. Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense to me..

I would call the local police department and ask if anyone is missing a nice Halcyon rig. If it was a jacket bc, take your pic of manufacturers, I might buy that he bought something that he didn't really know about and forgot what little he knew since there are so many sources. That doesn't seem to ring true with the average Halcyon owner. There aren't that many dealers and their gear isn't cheap.

Pics aren't that clear but it looks like the newer logo on the wing and the newer logo harness. Shouldn't be that old and seems a little fishy that he's been out of diving a while and can't remember what it is.

It appears to be the single tank donut wing in the pic. I've gotten better deals on used gear than that.

Looks like an Eclipse to me... I have one, it's awesome!

$400 doesn't sound that bad if it is in good shape. They come with 30 or 40 lb lift wings, it should say it on the tag. I have heard good things about DSS too.

The wings are pretty sturdy, but I guess it it possible to get a leak. Check the valves, too, that's probably the most likely failure point. Also, there was a Halcyon valve recall a few years ago, see if this one qualifies (I had my valve spring replaced for free at a LDS).
