FFM do have there place (SAR, Contaminated water, sub zero temps)), but I think for technical diving they add to many possible failuar points. Will you switch to the correct deco gas? can the block fail? You are adding additional task loading. If you were to get into a situation that needs to be fixed fast, do you think you will be able to do it in a safe and fast manner?

yeah i am kidding about selling them but have made my mind up to abandon the FFM for tech diving. Tech diving is hard enough, why add complexity to an already complex situation.

And i do thank all who posted, your input was exactly what i was looking for.
