what filter for my sd550/ikelite case

a buddy of mine says i should look in to geting a filter for my camera (sd550 with ikelite housing, ds51 strobe) that puts the reds and other colers lost back in pictures. is there such filter? or have any reccommendations on a filter i should be using? sorry this underwater thing is still new to me..
