N,

As I said, nothing wrong with that.
But the people I talk about are from our socalled biblebelt.
Objecting to all the "nude"divers but still they come and watch us (un)dress.:D

Oh dear, oh my, no offense taken.

There is a difference between "naughty and nice" and "nasty and perverted" and for those who don't know the difference perhaps they should just keep their cloths on. Having sexual contact with a stranger on the beach in front of children would be perverted, a woman and a man laying on the beach or at their camp or wherever, nude or diving nude if they insist, enjoying the universe is simply nice. All that said, trust me, I am not a nudist, I like my cloths and I like them on -----> me, lol, they keep me warm but I have no problem with y'all running around butt naked and, oh, I am from the Bible Belt. Stereotypes simply don't fit anymore, if they ever did. N

This diver wears the same suit I do under my wetsuit.

We're Americans. We come from a history of prudes and it still shows today.

A buddy of mine that studied abroad in Geneva has a photo of a guy walking around, Sunday stroll, in the city wearing a "Gilligan" sailor hat, diapers, and sneakers. And we're the weird ones.......

:rofl3:

Stereotypes simply don't fit anymore, if they ever did.

My wife graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology, and is now pursing her masters. Every now and then she will say some (in my mind) brilliant things. One such thing she told me once:

"You know why stereotypes are still around? Because they work!"

I'm not saying that all stereotypes are warranted, but I do believe there is some truth in her statement.

She's a borderline genius, but I might be biased too. ;)

The stereotype sure fits here in the Book of Mormon belt. I sometimes wonder how I survive.

Compression shorts and Lycra skins. In addition, I wear the short non-cotton footie socks that I buy in the women's department at WalMart.

No bunching - easy to don & doff any wetsuit and booties.

With the exception of Borat - and that was a movie, not real - who would really wear this stuff?????

I'd rather look at a 70 year old in a speedo than....oops, er sorry Garobo!

Don't they realize how stupid they look - on so many levels..... Guy in the pix looks like a real doofus; probably stuffed an orange in there for "effect".

A speedo is bad enough - but Jesus.....

I like a Singlet.
I'm a bit on the large side and don't like to go without top if I can help it. Singlets being one piece and covering both top and bottom are the way to go for me.

'Course, you can still tell your religion when wet, so a speedo or tighty whities underneath might be recommended...

I find this MUCH more disturbing than this...
