In the interest of full disclosure, I am a store manager for Divers Supply. First, Sea Elite BCD's are most often produced in the very same factories that many very well known manufacturers use to build out their BCD's so you are assured the same level of quality. Secondly, Sea Elite BCD's are designed to provide you the same modern performance and features available in the other major manufacturers most popular designs. We have the popular Stealth back inflate BCD similar to a very famous Sea Quest design and a great Hybrid (the Profile that someone else here mentioned) similar to a Mares or Aeris Hybrid design that has been very popular. Whatever design you desire or level of performance you want, there is a Sea Elite BCD to meet your needs. The only major difference between the Major manufacturers BCD's and the Sea Elite options is price, with what you will pay for a Sea Elite BCD vs. a Major Mfg's you can buy two Sea Elite BCD's and you will receive the same warranty backing from Sea Elite that you will from any other manufacturer. If you have more questions please PM me or feel free to call me at my location at 770-419-1976 and I hope this helps in your purchasing decision.

Hi Jack, I'm going to buy a new BCD Sea Elite Scout.
I've seen a very good offer in Divers supply and I want to go with it.
The point is that there is no on-line size-chart and I want to be sure the size I will purchase, as I don't live in the USA and a change, due to a size mismatch, will be a nightmare.
Can you please provide me a size-chart. For your reference my sizes are :
Chest : 39"
Waist : 37"
Full weight : 176 pounds
Full height : 67"

The chest and waist sizes are without clothes. Should I consider the neoprene thickness I normally use to select the right BCD ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Holy three year old thread revival!

I'm not sure Jack's keeping up with 3 year old threads. he gave his phone number.... best bet for a better answer is to call him.

I know that a 3 year old thread is probably going to be ignored.
Unfortunatelly I cannot find a size-chart in Divers-Supply web page.
I must buy on-line and I don't want to buy something that will not fit.
I've also sent him a PM.

Jack did answer my PM. I have alreday ordered on-line a new Sea Elite Scout BCD.
This site is great !!!

Divers Supply has a very good return policy if it doesn't fit you can send it back no questions asked. I used to frequent their store in Jax when I was up that way. It was great.

Hey Jack, do you guys have a pool on site? Ide love to try one before i buy it.

I purchased a sea elite scout in 2011 as a travel bc. It folds very compactly and is lighter than my bpw or balck diamond. Since then it has been to Australia, the Cayman Islands, Fiji, Hawaii, and California. It has many features I like. It appears to be well constructed. In 7 years it probably has approximately 50 to 75 dives and still works very well. I have found Divers Supply to be very responsive to inquiries about the BC.

Holy eight year old thread revival! You guys might want to think about a new thread :)

well, i took the plunge. I bought the reg set as a stop gap to dive until i have the money to get the ones i want and then I will save them as spares/BU Rig. out of hundreds of posts in various places, i have only seen a couple of negatives, pretty much everyone that says they dive this gear, all say it performs and lasts. I feel like I got good gear for the money. Ive used lots of Non mainstream stuff in other arenas that was every bit as good as the big name brands but I prefer to know what i have and what it will do and KNOW that the company will stand behind it. I think it will more than do what i want it to until I get the rig I want. I want to know who MAKES them. For instance, I ordered a NEOSPORT wetsuit, discovered it was made by Henderson and I have to say it is an AWESOME suit for the price. I am very pleased with it. I would like to know who makes these regs as well.
