I was given a DACOR 960 1st stage and an XLB Pacer second. My LDS said they are not serviceable. Does anyone need or want these?

There do appear to be some technicians who have stockpiled the needed parts...my local LDS was going to send out my old Dacor Formula to a guy who does that, but I decided to put the money towards a new reg, since I was never that happy with it even when brand new.

There are a lot of guys that are members of the Historical Diving Society that would probably love to have your old, worthless antiques.

If it would help I can give you a pretty decent trade in value on old computers, BC's, or regs towards the purchase of a new set. Looking at about 20% off with trade in.

I would suggest a door stop. I like to use them for the equipment class to show students how regs work and what worn parts look like.

I noticed that you posted your Dacor gear in the Sea Hunt section and on a vintage gear forum. I don't mean to disappoint you, but that is not Sea Hunt era or even considered vintage gear by most collectors. Maybe in a decade or two it may be considered vintage and become more desirable, but... I wouldn't count on it.

Good Luck

Yeah I had someone PM me with the suggestion that I post there. So far the best suggestion has been to use a paperweights. I think maybe if I polish them up enough I can use them as reflectors for my anchor line to make it easier to find in low vis.:rofl3:
