I am looking for some hard sole booties for diving wet. Most of my diving is beach diving and I hate (like everyone else) the rocks that are always hidding from me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

B.

Unless you have sensitive feet or are planning on hiking quite a ways Xcel's "Titanium GlideSkin lined boot with molded sole" may be overkill. Their sole is VERY durable. I just use their normal bootie shorediving around the coast with little problems.

You should really post this over at exposure protection. I use the Seasoft Stealth boot. Great hard sole, good arch support and a durable warm boot over all.

Good point. I'll move it.

I was just eyeballing a pair of Henderson Hyperstretch 7mm zipperless boots the LDS last night. Very nice.

Bet I could make 'em stink like my old ones in no time!

I have these -- they are fantastic. Don't buy them from LP! I just bought a pair of henderson gloves form Leisure Pro. On the very first dive, they leaked tons of water at the seams. I tried to return them, since they were defective. They wouldn't take them back and suggested that I have them repaired by the manufacturer. I even talked to the general manager, who refused to exchange them or refund my money. And this was all only days after I purchased them!!!

I have the Henderson Hyperstretch too. They are a GREAT set of booties.

Henderson Gold Core. By far the best "wet" bootie on the market! No carzy treds or fancy looks just great booties that will keep your feet very warm and really really reduce flushing! They are not the cheapest but I think they are the best!

I use NRS boots. They are lace-up with velcro fold over, rescue boots. Very solid and very comfortable. I use them when diving in the Ohio River (cause ya never know whats down there!) I also used them last summer down in the keys and Dry Tortugas and they worked great there as well.
