OMS IQ... when I am diving w/o students and just want to be comfortable. It's my old standby that has seen many, many hours of diving.

Oceanic Chute II... For when I am DMing OW students (and soon to be teaching). It is somewhat easier to doff and don, and the LDS that I help with gave me an INCREDIBLE price. It is almost as comfortable as my OMS and it should not intimidate the students. It needs a crotch strap to make it really comfortable.

I wear my aqualung malibu when guiding and teaching (80% of the time.) For fun and tech diving I use my tranpac II with either travel or superwings. I would wear my tranpac more with singles if it didn't mount the tank so high. I've adjusted it as much as possible and the first stage still gets my head from time to time.

"most often"?

How about "without exception" when it comes to my backplate? :)

Looking at the results, it's good to know that they're won't be any shortage of used Zeagles on eBay in the near future! :)

For general recreational, light recovery, and river I dive my DUI Wing. Lots of people hammer on it but I love it. For heavier diving requirements OMS backplate and harness with a Diverite wing.

Dive-Rite Transpac II with Rec Wings.
I plan on getting the Travel Wings for my Transpac before my next Caribean trip.
Then I plan on putting the Rec wing on a Fred T BP/harness.

Zeagle Ranger. I use it in Lake Tahoe and Monterey, and have taken it to the tropics, as well. Although, after reading some of the posts on this board, I'm considering getting an OMS IQ and wings for travel.
