Travel to Arizona to help campaign for John Kerry

WOW! Now THAT is a significant civic contribution!

The parallels between the upcoming 2004 presidential election and 1992 are very similar. Both times, there was an incumbent Bush. Both times, the Democratic challenger came out of seemingly nowhere to challenge a very popular and presumed-unbeatable incumbent. Both times, the incumbent had precipitated an ill-founded unjust war against Iraq.

Of course, we will all forget about that for 60 playing minutes while the whole world watches either bits and pieces or all of the American Superbowl.

The Patriots have my best wishes, and John F Kerry has my prayers.

I'm going to have some pizza, beer, and breadsticks.....a complete anti-atkins day.

More than likely a little gambling as a card game tends to break out hours before the game starts.

I pick the Pats over the Panthers 24 - 13

Yeah, I'll be watchin the game. Got some food lined up too. Gonna have some tortilla chips and salsa, buffalo chicken wings, pepperoni and cheese on triscuits for apps. Then the main course will be fried chicken and some barbecued ribs, and pizza. Oh, and of course, you cant forget the beer. I love SuperBowl parties!!!

Oh, and I hope the Pats win, of course...

Will be on the road - work related.

Will watch in the hotel lobby with Chinese food if its Carolina fans - will watch in my room with take out Chinese food if the lobby is Patriot fans !!!

I just can't generate the interest to myself in watching a game that will mainly consist of three downs and punt for both teams. I will probably be at home that night.

I may even be on SB.

Come on Brian .... you do know superbowl parties are not about the game only right? Its about:

1 - Good friends
2 - Good victuals
3 - Good libations
4 - Good commercials
5 - In our case, a good poker game
6 - And last but not least, watching the game

Pretty much in that order IMO. :)

Well up date here..J Lo and Ben are in town..but not together..and we watched Pamela Anderson get off the plane at Hobby Airport.. I heard she's a diver..

Being that you are from Mass. did you happen to go to the recognition day that Boston had for the team when they won the Super Bowl 2 years ago?
I heard that it was a quite a party in itself.

WHEN they win this year perhaps I'll make the 2.5 hour drive down for the homecoming.
