When i was doing my AOWD in the Red Sea the instructor told us about an event the previous week. A group of snorchlers were ALL standing on the coral in 3 feet of water, for rest of course. Everybody on all the other surrounding boats were screaming at them to get off! They also looked and smiled and waved. All foreigners that didn't understand a word of English, French, or Arabic. He said he was called before the Red Sea environmental board for that one. Of course they had been told beforehand to Stay off!
