Hi, I had a great time diving Cabo area in May a few years ago. The conditions weren't excellent but I still had a good time.
I am now planning a dive trip around thanksgiving time and considering Cabo area again.

What are the typical conditions around mid to late November? I was really hoping I could dive Gordo Banks and see some hammerheads and whale sharks.

Side question in case there are surfers here. How is the surf during that same time of the year?

I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Just saw this post. My last trip to Cabo was November-ish. I remember the water still warm and the sun hot. I didnt scuba dive, though the freediving I did was great. I primarily fished for Tuna and Dorado. I could see the fish under the boat about 70+ feet and the water that awesome mexican blue...
That time of year for surfing would be the pacific side north of Cabo San Lucas hoping for a good north swell. San Pedrito or Cerritos near Todos Santos are fun places. You may get a south swell, maybe.. if so, the east cape around San Jose Del Cabo could be fun.
Have a good time if you go! I'm headed to Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita and Yelapa at the same time. Do you know, or anyone else, of a good outfit to go with in those areas?

Hello from cabo. November Diving is great here in Cabo. There is a good chance to see whale Sharks then.
water will still be warm and calm with great Vis.
There are some good surf spots Costa Azul near San Jose 30 Mins from Cabo.and Km. 85 on the highway to Todo Santos about a Half Hour from Cabo and Cerritos Beach just 15 Mins. more.Juat before Todo Santos.
Let me know if you need any Info. About this area or anything about Diving Baja.
Thanks
Dee
