what Apeks model...

what do you mean by 'equivalent'? technically, i would say none of them are 'equivalent', but all of them are excellent. i have 1 ATX100, 1 TX100, 2 DS4/TX50s, 1 DS4/TX40 and a US4 for argon... all of them outstanding.

Apeks and Atomic make excellent regs... Apeks are environmetally sealed diaphragm 1st stages and Atomic are pistons. Since the Atomic you mentioned has an adjustable second... actually I think all Atomics have adjustments, you will have to compare it with the ATX 50 or 200 out of the current Apeks line. You will probably check prices to futher catagorize....
