Hi,

I have a suspender tab in my drysuit that is starting to come loose from the suit. Does anyone know what adhesive DUI uses to get the suspender tab to stick to the inside of the suit. I have seen DUI publications that talk about DUI glue. If DUI glue is what is used, does anyone know if DUI glue is the same as Bostik 451 or 2402 glue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We use a glue called urethane 1027 but it should not be a problem to use bostic. We use three thin coats on each side and then press together. If you live in San Diego, you are also welcome to drop it by the factory and we will take care of it for you. Hope this helps.

Faith,

Thank you very much for your reply. Is it possible to buy a small can of this Urethane 1027 from DUI. I would like to have it on hand to be able to do my own repairs if necessary.

Thanks.

We do sell the glue though it is only in larger quantities as it is oriented toward dealers. I believe IB Divers stocks it though. Ocean Enterprises may as well. They might be able to sell a partially used can. Hope this helps. Thanks
Faith
