Ian Uhalt, a local scuba instructor and history at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach had an incredible week. After witnessing the hundreds of juvenile octopus at Vet's he found a puffer in fifteen feet just off the north stairs. He found one in the same area two years ago.

Four years ago he had a Giant Sea Bass bonanza off Palos Verdes.

During one of the few times he didn't have a camera with him he saw a female gray whale and calf playing in the surf at Vet's.

I got a rock.
