WOW. Thats all i can say. Last weekend i did my deepest dive to date 32.3m and i loved it what a feeling. It was a great day, neap tides 10m vis and a beautiful flat garden bottom coral fans as far as the eye can see and i also saw my first shark so that was a real buzz(only a small black tip reefy). I think im addicted to depth every time i go a little bit deeper i want to go deeper still. :D :D :D :D :D

Congrats eleven, nice to see you are gaining more experience and building up slowly. When your ready give me a call, we can do the walls here on Utila on trimix 80 metres to the first ledge and great viz. I have been diving 25 years and still love it.

knowledge and experience go hand in hand

106 feet, eh? Must have been a little narced, whether you knew it or not. It is an enjoyable feeling for many. And a good depth for Nitrox. :thumb:

Keep it safe, now. I've been thru that same feeling - "I want to go deeper yet," and I got way too narced for safety on my last one.

Sounds wonderful! I can't wait until it's my turn!

Cool... Nice to know you are having a great time and looking forward to the next dive. In my opinion, that's what it is all about.

Happy Diving

Woah. I am suprised this hasn't been brought up. Deep Diving is slightly more dangerous than what people call 'Normal diving'. I have been taught, only dive deep if there is something to see. 9 times out of 10 the vis isn't good, because its darker, and its cold. My Dad's dives 40m +, which he still does, when he dives the Zenobia (A Car Ferry near Cyprus). And his air doesn't last long.

Deep Diving is alright, just becareful. Don't go over a ridge line just to get a deep depth on your computer, thats how accidents happen, very bad accidents.

Enjoy your diving

Glad you had fun! I feel a bit jealous since my only two trips into the deep have been horrible vis and silty! I think I saw a crawfish larvae down at forty fathom swimming around 100ffw. Considering how narced we were, it might have just been a stick. Congrats on the black tip and i'm glad it was relatively small with a good disposition.
