I just don't log dives
Vets Park Wednesday night... WOW. I was leaving to go back to La Bufadora again, but I wanted to sneak in a dive on Wed. No scooters - just kicking and photographing.

Old Skool dive for me and 'Chica:

* She in a wetsuit (mental patient...)

* Kick diving - NO SCOOTERS

* Back in my TriLam suit (no CF200)

* Diving AIR

It was like the old days.

And what a dive. We saw so much at Vets - because we were slowly kicking. It was macro city, with 5 different species of Nudis, pipefish and Octos everywhere and a fight between two Sarcastis Fringeheads Claudette and I watched for about 18 minutes, as she froze in her wettie.

Among the nudis, she found this British Columbia Aeolid. And if you think its small, you're not even close. That is the side of Claudette's INDEX FINGER.

Great dive. Many thanks for 'chica for diving wet and enduring the chill as we slowly kicked around diggin' on the Vets macrology.

Fringies fightin'. These freaks were duking it out. Nice umbrella mouths!

I grab your top lip and I spin you into submission...

Chomp me? I'll chomp you

Baby Octo in a bottle with his toys...

This just made me smile

Dendronotus frondosus - just one of many of the fuzz balls we saw on Wednesday

Another Dendy and a baby Scallop. I stopped to shoot this because I originally thought Dendy was clamped in the Scallop. Sadly, no.

Dirona picta - these were all over the place tonight at Vets.

My My My My Dirona... :)

Fed Ex obviously wrapped up on a stray electrical wire

Piper, resting on the sand. We have a piper down... :D

Impossibly small British Columbia Aeolid - making a break for it

Another shot of the tiny BCA

Thanks!

We're going back tonight to see if we can find some more of the Dorina Picta's... I love those things. Claudette may have her DS back, so we may get a little deeper and poke around a bit.

It was so clear last time - hopefully it will be nice tonight.
