I think that digital has come a long way. I just ordered a Sony DSC-F717 with an Ikelite Housing # 6111.17 for $1,300. That’s getting close to the cost of a comparable film camera.

This is a replacement for my DC200 that has proven to be aggravating due to poor optics and lack of controls once it’s in the housing.

Let’s throw something else into the mix; how do you take a 15 sec video clip of that turtle swimming by with your film camera?
