Whales in Maui - April 8-16?

I've read in a couple of places that whales are known to hang around through mid-April... If so, is there anywhere in particular (from a diving perspective) that provides a good chance of seeing/hearing them?

Also, if you know, Moloka'i seems to be known for Hammerhead sightings. How good are my chances? I would give me left *arm* to see one
