I've heard of dolphins doing this to small fishing boats. Not breeching, but jumping into boats cuz people have been feeding them handouts while fishing. Most of the time the dolphin breaks his neck or back.

Wow, I would have never tought that they could get hurt. They look so porky you would think their padding would protect them.

So it was a white whale? How funny is that??

My Essex reference (the true story Melville based Moby Dick on) and it ends up being a white whale slamming the boat.

Really spooky.

Was the capt'n named Ahab, maybe?



PS: "boats and jet Skies (?) must syat 1600 feet away...aircraft 2000' feet away..." What is that about? So you can get closer on the water than in the air...?
