UPDATE: Since I'm still getting messages about this thread, I want to let people know that I am no longer in Cozumel, and I no longer arrange this trip.

I can recommend 2 different companies for this tour, if you're staying anywhere from Tulum to Cancun (including Cozumel) look into:

They have the logistics and itinerary described in my last post. The video I posted and the trip I took in 2004 was through Whale Sharks Tours on Isla Mujeres Mexico they are also very good, but based in Isla Mujeres.
