I was not lucky enough to find one back in August 2008. Spent a week there and got bit badly by sand flies (noseeum). No plan on coming back there again. Once is enough.

Unfortunately not in my experience. I was there last year during one week and didn't see any. A couple of dolphins and that was it .

Not having any report from Ralph is discouraging for Belize this year... Pretty sad because I'll be there in June

Given my experience this year with Splash I would cancel and recover any money I could.

We went out with these people and snorkeled with the whale sharks. They seem to know the when and where. Orcas too:

That was incredibly fortunate. Mother Nature really delivered.

First whale shark sighting yesterday. One whale shark 35 to 40 feet in length. A very disappointing whale shark season during April and May with no sightings.

That's nicely large though, my gosh. Did it stick around and everyone get a good look?

A real shame about the overall season though. Mother Nature only delivers what she delivers.
