I'm a Fish!
Just back from 2 weeks diving in Red Sea off coast of Egypt.

Came across a "once in a life time" encounter with a large very dense bait ball and 3 whale sharks!
I was free diving to take these photos and video footage. (When I swam up through the bait ball from about 14m down it was so dense that everything went black!)

Unbelieveable!

Think you'll like the video clip! (I have more but have only uploaded this short one to YouTube)... go to my home page and just double click on the main picture of the whale shark.

Ben - That is SOOOOO COOOOL. We are headed to the Red Sea in October. We can only hope to be that lucky. Thanks for sharing.

That was incredible Ben. I could not imagine doing that well scuba diving let alone free diving. Great shots and I will watch it several times before the thrill wears off. Thanks

Ben
I don't believe the whale shark is eating those fish - whale sharks do only eat plankton. I think those fish were probably taking advantage of the whale shark.
