I recently purchased a 5x 3mm wetsuit from my local dive shop (authorized rep). When I tried it on at the shop we found that the legs and the arms were a bit long, as I am only 6'1". This was to be expected. The shop owner informed me that due to my size that this was probably as good as it was going to get with an "Off the rack" wet suit, agian I have not problem with that. I have been informed that the sleeves and legs can be trimmed but most likely not to the extent that I would need them. I am writing because I would like to know if Akona has an alteration department and if so how would I go about contacting them. If not do they have a company that they could recommend to do the alterations. If you do not want to reply in a public forum a PM would be most helpful. I have not had the opportunity to dive with this new suit but am looking forward to using it.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

PS - I have spoken with my LDS and they do not have anyone that they could recommend for alterations and I do not want to take it to someone who does not know how to work with this type of material.

I second the recommendation. Chris put zippers in my new wet suit. Quick and very nice work.
