I dove wet last week, 7mm semi-dry, and was VERY warm and comfortable in the water. Back in May I got cold sitting on deco at the end of each dive in the same suit. It probably comes down to personal preference and cold tolerance, but I'd have no problem diving wet in the summer months, but in the winter the drysuit comes out.
