jigo,
I think that remains unknown for sure but looking at the housing in photos and the camera in the store, I'd have to say doubtful.

Jigo, I think your best bet for wet lenses on the SP550 will be to wait for the Ikelite housing, which will accept 67mm lenses. On cameras with a long zoom lens, though, there seems to be an issue with the distance from the camera lens to the port. Ikelite advises on a couple of zoom cameras that their housing doesn't support wet lenses for this reason. Only solution might be if someone comes out with a geared port for that model. Doubt it will happen though, because then you start getting into SLR housing prices.

thanks guys. guess its back to square one in looking for a new model point and shoot that's good for use underwater.

Can someone explain the difference between these two Olympus/UN lenses? I have an Olympus PT-017 housing (46mm lens port). The PCU-01 is a 67mm lens and comes with the stepup adapters and the PCU-02 is a 46mm (no adapter needed). Both are listed as 6x. However, the PCU-01 is listed as a macro lens and the PCU-02 as a close-up lens. Is there a difference? I am also considering the Inon UCL-165 w/step up adapter. But if the PCU-02 works w/o an adapter and is cheaper, that might be the way to go. At least at this time, I'm not interested in stacking and even if I decide later, I might be able to then buy the Inon and put the Oly on the outside. Other than the size of the lens, is there a difference between these 2 lenses?
