Are any of these days good for diving in Carmel?
.SAT...NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT.
W SWELL 10 TO 12 FT. PATCHY FOG.
.SAT NIGHT...NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT.
W SWELL 10 TO 12 FT. PATCHY FOG.
.SUN...NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT.
W SWELL 8 TO 10 FT. PATCHY FOG.

Carmel isn't as protected from a W swell as Monterey. That Sat. forecast
would, if it holds, keep me at home. Sunday would be get up in the morning
and see what latest is. But probably be staying in Monterey.

And the Navy's WAM makes it look more like NW, esp. on Sunday.

i don't consider diving Carmel unless the swell is under about 7 ft, regardless of the direction it comes from.
