West Palm Beach, FL Nov 2011

Hello all

I'll be down in the West Palm Beach, FL area for work in November and I'm going to have one day (Wednesday) to dive.

I'm looking for suggestions on Dive Ops, Dive sites etc..

Good local area restaurants for some good sea food.

I'm OW with about 40 Dives, Boat/Shore/Quarry/Springs etc..

Dave

Hey there Dave,

As a native Floridian, I can say that most of the Dive Ops in WPB are Great. I personally side with Bill Walker but that is just me. JASA is Great as well. let me know what the actual date is for the Wednesday you will be able to dive and I can tell you high tide for BHB (Blue Heron Bridge) that is a must and no brainer, WHY??? cause it's FREE...:) Well you do need air..lol

So depending on the high tide at BHB, you could take a 2 tank AM or PM charter an hit some nice reef drifts or a couple of the cool wrecks that are out there and still get a bonus dive in at BHB.

Just my thoughts,

Mike

Visit www.sfdj.com and go to the "Finding Your dive" issue on the TOC...This is all of Palm beach counties best diving, best operators, and best Dive Resorts ( with amazing deals for divers).

OK, Looks like I'll be down there the 14-18 Nov 2011, So BHB here I come.

My schedule is some what flexable Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday afternoons. Hope I can hook up with some people diving the BHB.

I'm looking forward to a boat dive on Wednesday.

JASA is very good. However, Narcosis Dive Charters is my current fav. Very fast boat, great staff, a bit more diving "independence" if you want it, a boat that can handle bumpy seas well. MY fav local restaurant is Food Shack near Jupiter. IF sticking to W. Palm/Singer Island - Johnny Longboats on singer island has good food and is fun.

I will be in West Palm 27 NOV -3 DEC 2011.

Looking forward to getting some dives in, Boat and Shore.

Bags packed and ready to go.

Shame I'm on a business trip and have to work some too... But they are paying the bill.

Had a Great Dive with Narcosis 20 Nov 2011

it was a great day for divin, Warm and the Sea was flat.

Vis was maybe a dirty sixty as described by one of the Gals on the boat.

Captain and one of the diers got some great fish for dinner.

Good time had by all.
