went out today with riplipper, andrew, And dan. we hit some spots about 15 miles out. at first we dropped in at 9 mile reef first vis was closed out so we went out to a barge. soon as I got to the bottom I was greeted by a 7 foot shark he checked me out and was never to be seen again. started out real calm trying my best not to spook any of the fish well there were plenty of aj's in the barely legal size probably seen thousands as they circled me all i could see was aj's all directions except for the sand below me. then I look over and see mr 6' jew fish. when i first came to the rear of this structure I saw the jew and 3 nice big grouper maybe in the 35lb or larger but they were in full chase mode and not to be seen again. the fish were really spooked and it was a messed up place to hit mangos as the wreck has alot of places to lose shafts took wrong gun for the job could have whacked the mangos with my blue gun. the second dive spot was some culverts that were holding alot of fish I saw chase (goin deep) get a nice gag there. I shot one grouper and 2 mangos and a trigger on that dive location personally i didn't see many legal grouper there. both places had good vis until the last dive that rick and andrew did it was going down hill fast. slight thermo on the bottom and the good vis dives were about 40' or better. it did get a little choppy towards the end of the day.dinner was had and it was a good day out on the water. both sites were really cool places to see.
