I believe that @buddhasummer secret (sauce) was Neatsfoot oil. I prefer to set things on fire. But in any case, the 1085-XX being brass and chrome needs no such foolishness . Imagine that, they make regulators out of plastic and some people actually buy them! I Am What I Am.
