I've been researching all the leading manufacturers of HID cannister lights and reading a lot of the posted threads in order to best decide which is the best buy for me.
Diverite express states for the MR-11 that the new sunspot reflector and the Welch-Allyn Solarc bulb give improved shock resistance over the previously used intigrated bulb and reflector. This brings up several questions,
1. is the bulb a new more shock resistant bulb?
2. is the greater shock resistance due entirely to the isolated reflector?
3. does the focusable 10w HID have the same shock resistant characteristics?
4. how well does the shock resistance of the Welch-Allyn solarc bulb compare to the Brightstar HID bulb used by some of your competors?
thanks
Robert
