I had my classes this weekend and spent a lot of time in the pool. My ears don't hurt just seem to hear a little more different and different tones. Is this because of equalizing so much? My ears are not clogged , don't hurt and no vertigo. Just wondering?

any suggestions on how to get it out if that is what you think it might be

For ME, this usually means that I have too much wax built up in my ears and I need to clean them out.

MOST people do NOT make too much wax so this is not a problem.

Anyone with an otoscope and and the knowledge of what to look for can tell you in a moment. For the first time I suggest seeing a doctor.

You can learn a lot more about your ears and diving by watching the streaming video at;

got back from doctor today. I have swimmer's ear

Glad to hear its nothing serious. Take care of your ears, you only get the one pair but they are rated for life.

So have fun at the pool and have a blast diving.

And welcome to the board.

Paul.
