I had a problem with an almost full circle of glare is most of my pictures that I took with my wide angle lens. Turned out that I had my flash too far forward causing some of the light to hit the surface of the lens. I think I have learned from that.

On the Mavicas we have the knurled ring around the lens is silver. This could make for an excellent crescent-shaped reflector when you are taking a photo towards a light source (like the sun).
