Weird new tank valve fault

yes, that's a small oring that is replaceable without fully servicing the valve. O-ring 17 btw. Your LDS should be able to swap that out for basically free if you have a good relationship with them.

For keeping in normal save a dive kit I prefer this one. Actually lives in my wet notes since valve knobs like to come off at the most inopportune times. In a shop setting you'll want the straight up notched screwdriver, but for individual divers these guys are a bit more versatile

Thanks guys, lost track of this thread for a day or so but this is the info I need to fix that valve- there is no dive shop on this island so I try to keep spares of most things but this was my last tank valve.

The valve must be closed before attempting to replace the O ring.
