Hello again,

Please I need a favour: please give me your experience !

I got these things: 45# Sig Series Wing, O-Pac, Two Deluxe Weight Pockets; When I slide the pockets through the belts, it takes too much room ventrally. ( On their web site, it seems to me this shop don't sell anymore this type of weight pockets.....). When I dive with stage bottle, weight pockets, light,... it's just so horrible!

My question is the following:
Where can I put these damned weight pockets?
(but not in the ventral belt)

Perhaps on the back or on the side, but how do you perform this job?
If I can get a draw by PM, I will be happy!

Thank you in advance for your answers

François

Have you considered putting the weight on a belt or using a heavier back plate?
Done this way, it won't be in the way of your light or stage bottle.

With the o-pack I cannot take a SS backplate in the same time. Yes, I can use a heavier backplate and put to trash the $210 o-pak.

Yes, I can use a belt and put to trash the $60 deluxe weight pockets

Overexposed2X: thanks for the answer! Clearly you're right and maybe I'll have to chose one of your suggestion.

Because so many people advise this oxycheq single tank to forum's reader, I'm very anxious to know how they solve this problem or avoid it?

Best regards

My singles rig (with drysuit) is a 9lb BP, 5lb single tank adapter, and a steel 104cuft tank.

I don't need no stinkin' weight pockets!! ;)

It sucks to learn the hard way but, There's always e-bay

I use an Oxycheq Signature wing and this is what I do and need:
Since I dive with a drysuit (DUI CF 200) I need 11 kilos of weight. I carry about 4 K. in a weightbelt and the rest is made up of the BP and STA. I use PST 130's or 119's in a single configuration. The weight is evenly distributed and my trim is good. I also dive with a can light on my right waist belt. I wanted to put the majority of my weight on my BP for the best trim possible. This was achieved.
